The conference will feature keynote speaker Dr. Elsa Nunez, President of Eastern Connecticut State University.

Unleashing your leadership potential: Leveling up webinar
We are pleased to announce that Cheryl C. De Vonish, J.D., Chief Executive Officer of CT State Community College Norwalk will be the speaker for our first webinar of the 2023-2024 Academic Year: “Unleashing Your Leadership Potential: Leveling Up! Attorney De Vonish was appointed as NCC’s Chief Executive Officer on July 1, 2019, following four years serving the college in other capacities. Prior to joining NCC, Cheryl worked as an attorney for the City of New York and served on the Department of Youth and Community Development Advisory Board.
Empowering women along their leadership journeys
The CT ACE Fall conference is scheduled for October 28th at Goodwin University. Our theme is “Empowering women along their leadership journey" and our speakers and activities will focus on the following five areas: sponsoring women in higher education; marketing/personal branding; navigating change in higher education; managing stress and anxiety; and self-leadership.

An informal look at what women in higher education are doing, tandem to their primary careers. The speaker’s own side hustle story will be presented along with the stories of three others. Tips on how to get started with a side hustle will also be provided.
